Not as well known as the renowned Beluga, the roe of the Russian sturgeon, also known as Acipenser Gueldenstaedtii among connoisseurs, are the most diverse in their production. Our Imperial Caviar stands out:

The Acipenser called Gueldenstaedtii is a medium sized sturgeon that can grow 1.5m to 2m long like a human. Its weight varies from 80 to 200 kg. Under the pointed nose of its short and massive head, it stretches its retractable trunk, thus sucking up plants, small fish and shellfish. Only after nine years of maturing, the females deliver the precious caviar.
A species-appropriate husbandry is important to us and also a guarantee for our top-class caviar quality. Our sturgeon farm is a very extensive, natural lake landscape. They offer the animals enough space and water. The sturgeon caviar breeding is supervised by our experienced caviar master, who has been looking after sturgeon caviar breeding facilities for more than 40 years.

All our sturgeon caviar varieties can be kept unopened in the refrigerator at 4 °C for at least 8 weeks. When opened, please consume the Imperial Caviar within 1-2 days when stored in the refrigerator with the lid pressed on. Please note the sticker with the current consumption date on your tin.
