Product Information "Graved Salmon Kaffir Lime Leaves
The special consistency and the first short sweet taste, with the piquant lemon-like kaffir lime leaves, end in an aromatic experience, whereby one does not forget the culinary pleasure of salmon.
The leaves of the kaffir or kaffir lime are particularly used in South-East Asian cuisine. The plant originates from the tropical regions of Asia. Kaffir leaves taste piquant and lemon-like.
The leaves, which are rich in calcium and contain vitamins A, B2 and C, exude a highly aromatic tropical citrus scent that immediately whets the appetite.
Kaffir leaves are excellent antioxidants and help strengthen your immune system.
Origin: The main suppliers from Norway run high-quality certified salmon farms. A low stocking density and clean North Atlantic water on the west coast of Norway make Norwegian farmed salmon the highest quality salmon.
Hamburger Fischwerker's gourmet tip: cut the salmon into slightly thicker pieces from the head side (broad side) diagonally away from the skin. This will give you something like the feeling of Nordic "sushi" when eating. Depending on your taste, you can strip the kaffir leaves off the salmon or you can enjoy eating it with your friends.
Processing: Salmon are delivered as fresh raw material and are pickled and thus refined with a specially developed spice mixture in the traditional Nordic way at the Hamburg fish factory at our production site just outside Hamburg.
